We are seeking an experienced and motivated Volvo Technician to join our busy workshop. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified automotive professional who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and outstanding customer service. Working with one of the world's leading premium vehicle brands, you will be responsible for servicing, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Volvo passenger vehicles to manufacturer standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using Volvo diagnostic equipment.
- Perform scheduled servicing and maintenance in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
- Carry out repairs on engines, transmissions, suspension, steering, braking, and electrical systems.
- Complete warranty repairs and maintain accurate service records.
- Conduct vehicle inspections and recommend required repairs.
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
- Collaborate with the service team to deliver exceptional customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean and organised workshop environment.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- At least 3 years of relevant automotive technician experience, preferably working with European vehicles or Volvo.
- A recognised automotive qualification equivalent to NZQF Level 4 or higher.
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
- Experience using manufacturer diagnostic software is advantageous.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- A current driver's licence (manual preferred).
- Full-time, permanent employment with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Competitive hourly rate of $35.00 to $45.00, depending on qualifications and experience.
