Experienced Truck Mechanic? Your next opportunity could be here. Christchurch is home to a huge transport and logistics industry — and we're looking for a talented Heavy Vehicle Technician to join the team of an established operator.
If you're the type of mechanic who enjoys variety, likes getting to the bottom of a difficult fault and wants to work alongside people who know their trade, this could be a great next step.
What you'll be working on
You'll be involved in keeping a fleet of heavy commercial vehicles performing at their best.
That means:
- Preventative servicing and maintenance
- Mechanical repairs and component replacement
- Diagnostic and electrical fault finding
- Heavy vehicle inspections
- WOF-related repairs and maintenance
- Identifying faults and finding practical solutions
- Maintaining accurate and professional workshop standards
- Working safely and efficiently as part of the team
We'd like to hear from experienced Heavy Vehicle Technicians who have:
- A relevant trade qualification
- Previous truck or heavy commercial vehicle experience
- Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills
- A genuine interest in the heavy vehicle industry
- Good attention to detail
- A positive attitude and reliable work ethic
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A current NZ Driver Licence
