South Auckland Motors is looking for a confident and customer-focused Trade Parts Specialist to join their busy Papatoetoe Trade Centre.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work across multiple automotive brands in a fast-paced trade environment, where your parts knowledge, customer service skills and ability to think on your feet will be highly valued.

You’ll be the go-to person for inbound retail and trade customers in the call centre, helping identify, quote and supply the right parts quickly and accurately.
You’ll manage enquiries across phone, email and online platforms, using your knowledge of mechanical and panel parts, EPC systems, VINs and registrations to find the right solution for each customer.
You’ll also have the opportunity to identify additional sales opportunities, follow up quotes and build long-term relationships with trade customers.
What you’ll bring
We’re looking for someone with solid automotive parts experience, ideally with 5+ years in the industry or a Level 3 Automotive Parts qualification.
You’ll be:
- Knowledgeable across mechanical and panel parts
- Confident using EPCs and computerised parts systems
- Comfortable working in a high-volume environment
- Accurate, organised and commercially minded
- A strong communicator who enjoys dealing with customers
- Ability to work in a fast paced enviroment
- Someone who can keep their cool when the phones are busy and multiple enquiries are coming in at once
