EmployMe is advertising on behalf of a busy, well-established workshop looking for an experienced Small Engine Mechanic to join the team.
This is a hands-on role working across a range of small engines and outdoor power equipment. You’ll be part of a friendly, busy workshop where quality workmanship, reliability and getting the job done right are valued.
The role You’ll be responsible for:
- Diagnosing, servicing and repairing small engines and equipment
- Carrying out routine maintenance and scheduled servicing
- Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical faults
- Completing repairs efficiently and to a high standard
- Keeping accurate job records and maintaining a tidy, safe workshop
- Providing practical advice to customers when required
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has proven experience as a small engine mechanic or in a similar mechanical role
- Has strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Is confident working independently and as part of a team
- Takes pride in producing quality workmanship
- Is reliable, organised and safety conscious
- Holds a full NZ driver licence, or is able to obtain one
