Some people fix machines. Others understand them.
Employme is recruiting on behalf of a well-established workshop and they’re on the lookout for a Field Service Technician who’s just as comfortable in a workshop as they are rolling down a gravel drive toward a tractor that refuses to cooperate.
This is proper hands-on work. Big gear. Real responsibility. Rural clients who rely on their equipment to earn a living. When something stops, you’re the one who gets it moving again.

What We’re Looking For
You might be trade-qualified, or you might have earned your stripes the practical way. What matters is that you know heavy machinery inside and out.

We’re keen to speak with technicians who:
  • Have solid experience with agricultural or heavy diesel equipment
  • Can confidently diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults
  • Know their way around tractors, harvesters, loaders, and telehandlers
  • Work well independently and manage their time without needing someone looking over their shoulder
  • Hold a Full Class 1 licence (HT endorsement is a strong advantage)
  • Can talk to customers clearly and professionally
If you enjoy variety in your week and take pride in leaving things running better than you found them, you’ll fit right in.

What You’ll Be Doing
No two days will look exactly the same.
You’ll be:
  • Handling servicing, maintenance, and breakdowns in both the workshop and out in the field
  • Diagnosing faults properly the first time and carrying out quality repairs
  • Completing pre-delivery checks on equipment before it heads out to customers
  • Keeping accurate job records and communicating clearly with clients
  • Working a minimum of 40 hours per week, with overtime available during busier periods
This is a role where you’re trusted to do the job properly, not rushed through patch-up fixes.

What’s In It for You?
  • Competitive pay that reflects your experience and skill
  • Overtime available when workloads increase
  • Modern service vehicles, specialist tooling, and diagnostic support
  • Ongoing OEM training to keep you sharp and up to date
  • Annual tool allowance
  • Free medical insurance
You’ll be joining a business that values capability, backs its technicians, and understands that good people are hard to find.
