This opportunity would suit an experienced Service Manager,or an Assistant Service Manager or Senior Service Advisor who is ready to step into their first Service Manager role.
About the Role This is a hands-on leadership position overseeing the daily operations of a busy service department, managing a small to medium-sized service team, and ensuring a high standard of customer experience and operational efficiency.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the service department and customer journey end-to-end
- Leading, mentoring, and supporting a small to medium-sized team of service advisors
- Working closely with the workshop to ensure smooth workflow and job turnaround
- Handling customer escalations, quoting, and service scheduling
- Maintaining high service standards and strong department performance
This role will suit someone who:
- Has experience as a Service Manager, Assistant Service Manager, or Senior Service Advisor
- Is confident managing and motivating a small to medium-sized team
- Is ready to take ownership and lead from the front
- Communicates confidently with customers, technicians, and management
- Understands workshop operations, service processes, and KPIs
- Is organised, resilient, and solutions-focused
