Are you the kind of person who can translate “it’s making a weird noise” into an actual diagnosis? Do you have the charm of a talk show host, the patience of a saint, and the organizational skills of a wedding planner? Our client is looking for their next Automotive Service Advisor
to join their busy dealership in Auckland!
What You’ll Be Doing in the Role
- Being the friendly face (or voice) customers trust with their car troubles.
- Coordinating vehicle servicing, from booking appointments to explaining repairs (without making it sound like rocket science).
- Keeping customers in the loop – because nobody likes surprise costs!
- Diffusing stressful situations with a smile (and maybe a well-timed car joke).
- Working with the workshop team to ensure jobs are completed efficiently and correctly.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience as a Service Advisor or in a customer service role within the automotive industry.
- A solid understanding of vehicle servicing and repairs (bonus points if you know your way around a workshop).
- Excellent communication and people skills – you’ll be talking to everyone from mechanics to customers who “just need a quick look.”
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure – because service departments are always
busy!
- A positive attitude and a knack for problem-solving (yes, even when the printer jams).
