Employme is currently seeking an experienced Parts Advisor to join a busy and well-established automotive dealership in Queensland.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated automotive parts professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with people, and knows their way around a dealership parts department.
The Opportunity
As a Parts Advisor, you’ll play a key role in keeping the dealership running smoothly by ensuring technicians, customers, and the service team have the right parts, at the right time.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Assisting retail and trade customers with parts enquiries
- Identifying and sourcing automotive parts accurately and efficiently
- Supplying parts to the workshop and service department
- Preparing quotes, invoices and parts orders
- Managing incoming and outgoing stock
- Maintaining accurate inventory records
- Liaising with suppliers and manufacturers
- Following up backorders and special orders
- Providing a high level of customer service
- Supporting the wider parts team to maintain an organised and efficient department
We’re looking for someone who brings automotive parts experience, strong product knowledge and a genuine customer-service mindset.
Ideally, you will have:
- Previous experience as a Parts Advisor, Parts Interpreter or similar automotive parts role
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts and components
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Good computer and systems skills
- Strong attention to detail and organisational ability
- The ability to work effectively under pressure
- A proactive, team-focused approach
- A current Australian driver’s licence or eligible to obtain one
