About the company, brand and role
EZGO NZ is growing, and we’re on the hunt for a hands-on, customer-loving Mobile Service Technician who’s keen to work with best electric cart in the world.
EZGO NZ sells the American made golf carts and electric utility vehicles to customers throughout NZ. EZGO is a well-respected international brand and EZGO NZ is a kiwi owned company based in Papakura holding the distribution rights to import the well-known EZGO electric carts into NZ. To support their growth, EmployMe is recruiting for a Mobile Service Technician to service and repair electric carts onsite at customer locations. Transition from working on heavy machinery, forklifts, or traditional vehicles to servicing innovative and eco-friendly electric golf carts throughout the North Island.

What you'll be doing in the role
- Troubleshoot and repair electric carts on-site
- Manage vehicle parts inventory and ensure vehicle is stocked and maintained
- Keep accurate records of service jobs, time, and parts used
- Provide friendly and efficient customer support
- Support the wider team when needed (deliveries, warehouse, stock takes)
- You'll be the friendly face rolling up to customer homes, businesses, golf courses, and lifestyle blocks to diagnose and repair EZGO electric carts on-site.
What we’re looking for
- 3+ years in a technical or trade-based role – auto electrical, mechanical, or engineering ideal
- Experience with diagnostic tools
- Strong initiative and self-management
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Fluency in English
- Clean NZ driver’s licence (must be able to tow a trailer)
- Willingness to travel (including occasional overnight stays)
