If you know your way around the latest automotive technology and thrive in an environment where precision and performance are key, this could be your next exciting move!

What We're Looking For:
  • Proven experience as a Master Technician or Senior Automotive Technician within a dealership environment

  • Expert diagnostic skills — you can spot a fault from a mile away

  • Strong leadership qualities — you’ll be a mentor and technical advisor to junior technicians

  • Excellent communication skills — you're just as comfortable explaining repairs to customers as you are discussing diagnostics with the service manager

  • Solid understanding of modern automotive systems, diagnostic tools, and OEM procedures

  • Commitment to health & safety and best workshop practices

  • Relevant automotive trade qualifications (Level 4 or higher preferred)

  • Full NZ Driver’s Licence

  • Supporting and mentoring a team of technicians to lift workshop capability

  • Liaising with service advisors and customers to ensure high levels of satisfaction

  • Keeping up to date with manufacturer training and certifications

  • Maintaining workshop standards, ensuring jobs are completed right the first time

  • Assisting with warranty repairs, quality control, and technical escalations

  • Helping to drive workshop efficiency and first-time fix rates

What's In It for You:
  • Competitive salary package plus overtime & incentives opportunities

  • Ongoing manufacturer training and certification pathways

  • Stable, full-time role with a respected, busy dealership

  • Opportunity to step into technical leadership and workshop training roles

  • Great team culture — supportive, professional, and focused on growth

  • Access to the latest diagnostic equipment and technology
