Groomer Team Leader South Auckland Motors | Manukau
South Auckland Motors is recruiting for an experienced and motivated Groomer Team Leader to lead our busy grooming department in Manukau.
This is a hands-on leadership role managing a team of 8 groomers and overseeing the grooming and presentation of approximately 40–50 vehicles per day. We’re after someone who can lead by example, maintain high presentation standards, and keep the team running efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Leading and supporting a team of 8 groomers
- Managing daily workflow and vehicle turnaround times
- Ensuring all vehicles are groomed to a high presentation standard
- Quality control checks before vehicles are displayed or delivered
- Training and mentoring team members
- Maintaining grooming supplies and equipment
- Coordinating with sales and operations teams
- Ensuring health & safety procedures are followed
- Liasing with Service Advisors regarding customer vehicles
- Reporting to the Service Manager
- Previous grooming/detailing experience
- Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Reliable, motivated, and hands-on attitude
- Full driver’s licence required
- Full working rights or someone on an open work visa
- Negotiable package based on experience
- Flexible hours and start/finish times
