If you can weld like a pro, fit parts like a puzzle master, and still crack a joke while covered in metal dust — this could be your next big move!
What We're Looking For:
- 2+ years' experience as a fitter welder — you know your MIG from your TIG without blinking
- Strong blueprint reading skills — no upside-down plans here
- Solid welding and fabrication experience across various materials
- Problem-solving skills sharper than your grinder
- A real eye for precision and detail — you measure twice (or three times) and cut once
- A positive, can-do attitude — teamwork makes the dream work
- Ability to work onsite when needed
- NZ Residency or valid NZ Work Visa
- Full NZ Driver’s Licence (bonus points)
What You'll Be Doing:
- Reading technical drawings and schematics like a seasoned detective
- Assembling, fitting, and welding metal parts with top-quality workmanship
- Diagnosing faults and repairing machinery and equipment
- Cutting, grinding, and shaping metal with finesse (and a bit of muscle)
- Keeping health & safety front of mind (we like our team with all fingers intact)
- Making sure every project meets strict quality standards
- Pitching in to help the team smash deadlines
