Field Service Technician - Nelson

Right now, we’re working with a leading player in the heavy machinery game who’s on the hunt for mechanically minded superstars to join their expanding team in sunny Nelson.
With the workload stacking up and the fleet growing fast, they’re looking to bring on a Field Service Technician to handle both workshop and on-site repairs, pre-delivery testing, and whatever else the machines throw at you (figuratively, of course).
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Carrying out mechanical repairs and servicing in both workshop and field settings
- Performing pre-delivery tests on new and used heavy machinery
- Diagnosing faults and fixing things right – the first time
- Providing friendly, efficient service to customers across the region
What We’re Looking For:
- A qualified mechanic or someone with 3+ years’ experience servicing earthmoving or construction equipment
- A self-starter with solid time management skills
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
- Someone who can work solo without needing constant direction
- Full Class 1 Driver’s Licence(WTR endorsement is a bonus, not a dealbreaker)
