Right now, one of our clients - a respected materials-handling specialist- is looking for an experienced Diesel Mechanic (Field Service Technician) to join their high-performing team in West Coast.
Our client, a leading materials-handling and forklift specialist, is seeking a Field Service Technician to support their growing customer base across the West Coast- from Greymouth to Hokitika and beyond.
You’ll have the freedom to travel, meet great clients, and keep local industries moving - from forestry and freight to agriculture and logistics.
What You’ll Do
- Service and repair forklifts and handling gear on-site
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults
- Complete diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and callouts
- Represent the company with pride and professionalism
- NZQA Level 4 Trade Qualification (Automotive, Heavy Diesel, or similar)
- Minimum 3 years’ post-trade experience
- Confident communicator, independent worker
- Commitment to quality workmanship and safety
- $38/hr -$42ph + overtime & allowances
- Company vehicle for work use
- OEM training & upskilling
- Be the local face of a respected national brand
