We’re currently recruiting for an Experienced Truck Mechanic to join a reputable OEM dealership in Auckland. You’ll be working on a leading truck brand in a well-equipped, modern workshop alongside a supportive, professional team. Factory training is provided, and there’s a clear path for career growth, including an opportunity to step up into a Leading Hand position for the right candidate.

 

What you’ll be doing:
  • Servicing, maintaining, and repairing a fleet of modern trucks to OEM standards
  • Diagnosing faults and completing repairs efficiently and accurately
  • Using OEM diagnostic tools and participating in brand-specific training
  • Supporting junior technicians and contributing to a safe, team-oriented workshop
  • If stepping into a Leading Hand role – overseeing workflow and mentoring team members

 

What we’re looking for:
  • Qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic (Level 4 or equivalent)
  • Solid experience with trucks or commercial vehicles
  • Strong diagnostics and fault-finding ability
  • Familiarity with OEM processes, service manuals, and systems
  • Great communication skills and a reliable, team-first attitude
  • Full NZ driver’s licence – Class 4 is an advantage
  • Leadership skills or experience (if applying for the Leading Hand role)
