We're looking for an experienced Heavy Vehicle Technician to join a busy workshop in Nelson. This is a genuine opportunity to become part of a team where your experience is valued and no two days are exactly the same.
What will you be doing?
You'll be working across a range of heavy commercial vehicles, keeping them safe, reliable and ready to get back on the road.
Your role will include:
- Servicing and maintaining trucks and heavy vehicles
- Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
- Carrying out repairs and preventative maintenance
- Troubleshooting and fault finding
- Working through WOF-related repairs and compliance requirements
- Using your experience to identify issues before they become bigger problems
- Working alongside a team that takes pride in its workmanship
We're looking for someone who:
- Has solid experience as a Truck or Heavy Vehicle Mechanic
- Holds a relevant trade qualification
- Is confident with diagnostics and fault finding
- Takes pride in producing quality work
- Can work independently but enjoys being part of a team
- Has a practical, can-do attitude
- Holds a current NZ Driver Licence
