We’re recruiting an Experienced Automotive Technician for a well-established franchise dealership in West Auckland. This is a busy workshop with steady workflow, up-to-date diagnostic equipment, and a supportive team that values quality workmanship and reliability. Manufacturer training is provided, with genuine career progression available for the right person.
The role You’ll be hands-on in the workshop, delivering accurate and efficient repairs and servicing across a range of late-model vehicles, while maintaining the high standards expected of a franchise dealership.
Key responsibilities include:
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out servicing and repairs
- Working to manufacturer and OEM standards
- Using modern diagnostic tools and dealership systems
- Producing consistent, high-quality work with strong attention to detail
We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their trade and works well in a team-focused environment.
You’ll ideally have:
- NZQA Level 4 Automotive qualification or equivalent
- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding capability
- Confidence using OEM manuals, systems, and scan tools
- A positive attitude with clear communication skills
- Full NZ driver’s licence
- Secure, full-time role in a busy West Auckland franchise dealership
- Brand-specific OEM training and ongoing upskilling
