Employme is recruiting on behalf of our client, a reputable and busy automotive workshop in Rotorua, for a skilled and qualified Automotive Technician to join their growing team.
About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated technician who takes pride in quality workmanship and delivering outstanding customer service. You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and servicing a wide range of vehicles while maintaining high technical and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out diagnostics, servicing, and repairs on a variety of vehicles
- Perform routine maintenance including brakes, suspension, and engine work
- Use diagnostic equipment to identify faults accurately
- Complete job cards and service documentation correctly
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers when required
- Relevant automotive qualification
- WOF certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full, clean driver licence
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Competitive hourly rate based on experience - $36- $38 ph
