We’re currently recruiting an Automotive Technician for a franchise dealership in Central Auckland. This is a well-run, professional workshop with a steady pipeline of work, modern diagnostic technology, and strong manufacturer support. The opportunity You’ll be working on late-model vehicles in a dealership setting where precision, efficiency, and presentation matter. This role suits someone who enjoys technical problem-solving and takes pride in delivering work that meets OEM expectations.
Key responsibilities:
- Diagnostics, servicing, and mechanical repairs
- Warranty and dealership repair work
- Following manufacturer procedures and documentation
- Using advanced scan tools and dealership systems
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety
- NZQA Level 4 Automotive qualification (or equivalent)
- Experience as an Automotive Technician, ideally with modern vehicles
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability
- Comfortable working to OEM standards
- Professional communication and a team-first mindset
- Full NZ driver’s licence
- Full-time, permanent role in a Central Auckland franchise dealership
