About the Role:
As an Automotive Technician with BYD Auckland, you’ll work on New Zealand’s fastest-growing EV brand, with access to manufacturer training, evolving technology, and the tools you need to succeed.
Key responsibilities include:
• Conducting diagnostics, repairs, and servicing on BYD vehicles
• Working with high-voltage EV systems (full training provided)
• Completing work to manufacturer and safety standards
• Using advanced diagnostic tools and digital workflows
• Collaborating with a high-performing service team
What We’re Looking For:
• Qualified Automotive Technician (essential)
• EV or hybrid experience is a bonus – but not required
• Willingness to learn new technology and processes
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and team spirit
