About the Role
As a Service Advisor, you’ll be the friendly face (and calm voice) that connects customers with the workshop team. You’ll make sure every job runs smoothly, from booking services to handing back the keys — all while keeping customers informed, reassured, and happy. The dealership is based in the heart of Christchurch. What You’ll Be Doing:
- Greeting customers professionally and making them feel welcome
- Scheduling service appointments and keeping the diary under control
- Translating technical jargon into plain english that clients can understand
- Preparing quotes that make sense and explaining costs clearly
- Keeping customers updated
- Making sure the admin and paperwork are on point
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Strong organisational skills and multitasking ability
- Experience in a Service Advisor or similar customer service role (automotive preferred)
- Confident using computer systems and booking software
- A great sense of humour - because not every day goes to plan!
